 We have been in practice since 1990 and over the years, we have been able to offer many treatment opportunities for patients of all ages and we pride ourselves in being able to provide state-of-the-art natural health care that most chiropractic offices in the country do not offer.   In addition to providing traditional chiropractic care, both Dr. Sloves and Dr. Joachim continue to educate themselves so they can be in the forefront of  natural health care alternatives.  Dr. Sloves is currently 1 of only 10 Chiropractic Physicians in Connecticut  with Board Certification in Maternity and Pediatric Care and she is certified in both the Webster and Bagnell Breech Turning Techniques.  In addition, Dr. Sloves is one of the only physicians in Connecticut trained in Scoliosis Systems and the CLEAR Institute for the advanced, non-surgical diagnosis and management of scoliosis.  Dr. Joachim is the only physician in Connecticut with advanced certification in the BioSET Allergy Elimination Technique which can diagnose and permanently eliminate food, environmental and chemical allergies and sensitivities without medications or injections.  Both Dr. Sloves and Dr. Joachim are certified in acupuncture and they use a variety of techniques including traditional needles as well as electrical acupuncture.  The doctors are now proud to be one of a few in Connecticut to offer Axiom DRX9000 Spinal Decompression which is extremely successful and FDA cleared in effectively treating disc herniations and bulges, disc degeneration (arthritis), sciatica, facet syndrome and failed low back surgery.  This is all done in a painless and non-surgical manner at our office.
